Aplikasi LPG untuk bahan bakar untuk Sepeda Motor

Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi saat ini adalah kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak dunia. Hal ini berdampak langsung kepada negara yang memproduksi bahan bakar sedikit tetapi mengkonsumsi bahan bahan bakar besar seperti Indonesia. Sebagai dampak dari kenaikan harga pada tingkat Internasional maka di dalam negeri pun harga bahan bakar minyak juga naik.

Sebagai bahan bakar alternative, pengganti premium dapat digunakan bahan bakar gas atau yang sering disebut Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Dengan pertimbangan dintaranya yaitu ramah lingkungan, efisien, energi tinggi, mudah didapat di pasaran, harga lebih murah dan drop in substitute (pengganti langsung) atau sedikit modifikasi pada komponen mesin.

Perlu peralatan khusus yang digunakan untuk menkonversi BBG pada sepeda motor. Yaitu Tabung LPG 3 berat kg, regulator max 0-8 kg/hour, slang saluran gas. Kran Gas, Tali Gas Motor 2-Tak, Adaptor Atau Corong Karburator.

Cara Kerja
Untuk memfungsikan sistem BBG, aliran bensin harus dihentikan dulu. Tepatnya, slang dari tangki bensin yang menuju karburator dimatikan. Setelah instalasi dari tabung BBG, regulator, slang, kran dan adaptor dipasang, mesin bisa dihidupkan.

LPG dari tabung mengalir melewati regulator. Aliran gas menuju slang dan besar-kecilnya aliran diatur oleh keran. Buka-tutup keran dipengaruhi permainan tangan pada handgrip gas.

Aliran LPG dari keran masuk menuju adaptor atau corong karburator. Di dalam karburator, gas dan udara bercampur masuk menuju ruang bakar. Saat langkah kompresi dan ada percikan api busi, terbakarlah campuran gas dan udara itu untuk menghasilkan tenaga dorong piston.

Kenapa mesin dengan teknologi injeksi akhir-akhir ini banyak dikeluarkan oleh pabrikan sepeda motor?

Semenjak hadir produk Honda Supra 125 PGM-FI, lalu motor sport Yamaha V ixion dan akan disusul Shogun 125 Fuel Injection semakin banyak pabrikan yang menggunakan teknologi ini. Padahal kita tahu dengan penerapan teknologi hi-tech Fuel Injection (pengabutan dengan injeksi) atau non karburator, akan menimbulkan dampak terhadap harga motor menjadi lebih mahal. Hal ini karena dalam system fuel injection membutuhkan unit pengatur electronic (ECU) yaitu perangkat sensor pengabut bahan bakar dan pompa injeksi yang lebih rumit dari karburator.

System injeksi ini memberikan dampak efisiensi bahan bakar membuat lebih irit dan pembakaran yang lebih sempurna sehingga dapat menekan emisi gas buang yang mempunyai kadar polusi lebih sedikit. Hal ini juga sejalan dengan peringatan pemanasan global (global warming).

Makanya banyak pabrikan berlomba-lomba membangun brand image kepada masyarkat kita bahwa produk mereka berteknologi tinggi yang mengedepankan produk ramah lingkungan. Produk ini sebenarnya hanya sebagai FLAGSHIP pabrikan serta perang BRAND IMAGE. Karena fakta penjualan sepeda motor low tech (motor bebek biasa) lebih banyak terjual dari pada high tech (bebek super) hal ini dapat dimaklumi karena pertimbangan harga yang lebih murah dan hanya factor pemakaian sehari-hari yang tidak memerlukan teknologi canggih, sehingga masyarakat memilih kategori ini.

Seluruh produk masa depan harus berbasis teknologi ramah lingkungan.

Di Thailand pemerintah memuat regulasi bahwa semua produk sepeda motor baru yang diproduksi tahun 2009 wajib menggunakan tenologi injeksi. Honda CZ 110, Honda Revo 110 ?


AP Honda Co. Ltd. Thailand, pada Bangkok International Motor Show ke 29, menghadirkan dua model motor yang diberi nama Honda CZ Grand Prix dan CZ Motard yang merupakan prototype motor bebek sport 110 cc PGM-FI injeksi. Perbedaan antara keduaanya adalah Cz Motard merupakan varian standard sedangkan CZ Grand prix menampilkan sosok motor balap. Di Thailand direncanakan pada pertengahan tahun 2008 ini sudah dipasarkan.




Honda benar-benar menghadirkan motor dengan desain sangat futuristic, high teknologi, dan tema yang mereka usung adalah teknologi ramah lingkungan. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan menggunakan sytem PGM FI yang dikontrol ECU (Engine Control Unit). mereduksi emisi gas buang sesuai standar Euro6. Dilengkapi 5 sensor untuk keakuratan semprotan bahan bakar.

Di Indonesia dikabarkan dinamakan Honda Revo 110.

Pada akhir tahun 2007 Yamaha Thailand meluncurkan motor bebek sporti (super moped) yang dinamakan Yamaha X1-R. Menggunakan mesin kapasitas 135 cc seperti yang dipakai Yamaha Spark RX-135 (di Indonesia Jupiter MX 135). Yaitu mesin dengan spefikasi type 4 langkah, SOHC, 4 klep (berpendingin cairan) dengan dua rem cakram depan dan belakang. Sasis yang dipakai sama dengan Spark RX-135.

Pabrikan Yamaha menerapkan strategi basis motor sama tetapi dipakai oleh dua model yang berbeda seperti pada Yamaha Mio dan Mio Soul. Strategi ini untuk memenuhi permintaan dari segmen tertentu, dengan pertimbangan menekan harga dibanding harus membuat riset ulang. Selain itu mesin yang dikembangkan bersama-sama diantara Pabrikan Yamaha di Asean menjamin ketersediaan spare parts.

Apakah motor ini mau hadir di Indonesia?

Rumor PT Yamaha Kencana Motor Indonesia juga berencana untuk mengeluarkan motor terbaru mereka. Seperti slogan yang selalu berkibar SEMAKIN DI DEPAN, sehingga jangan sampai semakin ketinggalan dengan pesaingnya yang sudah mengeluarkan senjatanya, itupun Honda belum mengeluarkan seluruh produk-produk baru 2008 yang akan dimunculkan segera. Kabar angin yang beredar adalah Jupiter MX akan mempunyai varian yang berubah bentuk dan akan menggunakan teknologi injeksi. Kita tunggu saja kehadiran Yamaha X1R 135.

Bagi penggemar motor bebek sporti pada akhir Mei 2008 nanti akan diberikan alternative pilihan selain Suzuki Satria FU 150 dan Honda CS1 yang lebih dulu mengaspal. Pilihan itu adalah Kawasaki Athlete 125 cc yang segera diluncurkan PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI). Desain bodi berubah total yaitu mengusung konsep kawin silang antara motor bebek dengan sport. Mesin datar dengan 124.6 cc, pendingin udara, 4 stroke, SOHC, karburator Keihin PB 18, power 10 HP spek mesin mirip dengan Kawasaki zone 125.



Fitur:
Tangki bahan bakar benar-benar berada di bagian tengah antara tangkai kemudi dan jok seperti pada motor sport, yang akan memudahkan pengendara pada saat mengisi bensin. Sebelumnya, Kawasaki telah memperkenalkan Kaze MX dengan tangki yang terletak di depan. Sedangkan bagian di bawah jok tempat duduk adalah ruang bagasi dengan kapasitas cukup besar yaitu 8 liter. Honda CBR150 injeksi versi Indonesia masih rumor?

Rumor Honda CBR 150 versi ATPM akan hadir dan akan dikeluarkan oleh PT AHM. Menurut beberapa sumber gossip (mungkin benar atau tidak), sekarang PT AHM sedang melakukan riset di lapangan. Honda CBR 150 ini menggunakan teknologi injeksi, dengan tema yang diusung adalah teknologi ramah lingkungan. Untuk tema teknologi ramah lingkungan saat ini hukumnya wajib apalagi kendaraan bermotor menyumbang andil yang besar terhadap polusi udara. Barangkali standar emisi gas buangnya sudah Euro 3 dan BBM yang digunakan minimal mempunyai nilai oktan 91 ke atas.

Kabarnya basis mesin yang akan dipakai diambil dari Honda Hunk bermesin 1 silinder 150 cc yang dibuat oleh pabrikan Honda Hero (HH) India. Penggunaan basis Honda Hunk ini dimaksudkan untuk membuat motor ini dapat berkompetisi. Sehingga harganya dapat bersaing dengan Yamaha V-Ixion 150 cc yang sama-sama teknologi injeksi.

Karena penasaran saya coba browsing di internet dengan keyword Honda Hunk, hasilnya adalah motor dengan kapasitas silinder 149.2 cc, power 14.2 HP/ 8500 rpm Torsi maksimal 12.8Nm/6500rpm, pendingin udara. Di bawah ini adalah spesifikasinya.

Tetapi lagi-lagi factor harga jika mau mendatangkan seperti yang di Thaland pasti harganya diatad 30 jt apakah akan bisa bersaing dengan Yamaha V-Ixion?

Sebagai gambaran harga Honda CBR 150R built up versi IU of the road Rp. 32.5 jt dan on the road Rp. 37 jt. Yah…kita tunggu aja kabar selanjutnya dari PT AHM. (sekedar rumor)

PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI) mengeluarkan motor enduro tipe KLX 250S yang termasuk dalam kelas premium (papan atas). Motor ini merupakan motor dual purpose yakni dapat dipakai di jalan raya maupun untuk off roads. Standar KLX 250 S menggunakan ban pacul untuk off road tetapi bisa juga digunakan harian.


Berat kosong 116 kg membuat KLX 250S mudah dipakai untuk manuver, suspensi depan menggunakan system up-side down yang dapat distel kompresinya cukup memutar kekiri atau ke kanan untuk mengatur kekerasan atau kelembutan suspense. Result of MotoGP: PRAMAC GRAND PRIX OF CHINA 2008



Rossi the former world champion MotoGP rose again.After while eight months had not occupied the first podium, racing driver of the Yamaha manufacturer team's mainstay had finally come back succeeded in defeating a race series Grand Prix of China on Sunday May 4 2008.

Rossi the last time gained the victory in GP Portugal in September 2007.
